Baud Nacht (b. 1993, France) is a Belgian fine artist and tattooer based between Brooklyn, New York, and Uzès, France. His work is driven by a near-constant hyperanalysis — of materials, of systems, of the people and spaces around him. That intensity runs across oil painting, drawing, stone sculpture, ceramics, and art furniture, alongside experimental software and music.

He trained as a classical percussionist through the age of eighteen and holds a Master's degree in Data Analysis — two disciplines that continue to shape how he builds and structures his work, from the software he writes to the precision of his physical objects. Before turning to art full-time, he worked internationally as a photojournalist for organizations including the United Nations, Doctors Without Borders, and ADRA, reporting across Asia and the Middle East.

After relocating to New York in 2015, Nacht began tattooing, developing a discipline around permanence and mark-making that now runs through everything he makes. Tattooing remains his primary livelihood today, by choice — it keeps his art practice free of commercial pressure, made entirely on his own terms.

Nacht maintains an active studio practice between Brooklyn and Uzès. His work has been shown internationally, including in New York City and Kuala Lumpur.
